I coached softball at Dar es Salaam Sports Club from 1985 to 2005. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Wekesa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Wekesa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
