I've worked in pottery from 1978 to 2005. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wei
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
