I've coached football at Corpus Christi Silverlake Football Club since 2016. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Waylon
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Waylon: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
