Waweru Onyango Okello
Embroidery and mural painting artist
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Northside Art Collective
- Since 2008
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2008 at Northside Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Northside Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Waweru
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
