Waweru Mwende
Self-taught illustration artist
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- The Nairobi Print Workshop
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 2003 at The Nairobi Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Nairobi Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Waweru: Any gift helps me keep the free Saturday class running.
