For 15 years I ran the softball program at Mukono Boxing Gym in Mukono. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Waweru
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Waweru: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
