Waweru Kioko Byaruhanga

Coached gymnastics for 36 years in Gulu

  • 🇺🇬 Gulu, Northern Region, Uganda
  • Since 1990
  • English, Swahili
For 36 years I've run the gymnastics program at Gulu Youth Club in Gulu. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.

More about Waweru

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
