Wasantha Viraj Weerasinghe
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Lincoln Repairs
- Since 2017
- English, Sinhala
I've worked in tiling since 2017. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 360 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Wasantha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Wasantha: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
