For 44 years I've run the badminton program at Mardan Lakeview Sports Club in Mardan. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Waqas: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
