Wambui Nafula Otieno
Mural painting and photography artist
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- Mbale Studio
- 2012 to 2024
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes photography. My first show was in 2012 at Mbale Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Mbale Studio, which keeps me honest.
More about Wambui
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Wambui: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
