Kioko David Mutua
Painter, potter and teacher at Mukono Print Workshop
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Print Workshop
- 2004 to 2013
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2004 at Mukono Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I like to keep things simple and honest. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Kioko
I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Kioko: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
