Wahyu Teguh Santoso
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia
- The Denpasar Workshop
- Since 2012
- English, Indonesian
I've worked in weaving since 2012. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 420 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
More about Wahyu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Wahyu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
