Self-taught woodcarving artist

I'm a woodcarving artist based in Mombasa. I've been making things since 1978 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I also teach a weekly class at Little Mombasa Studio, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Wafula: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
