For 29 years I ran the softball program at Mandurah Holy Cross Youth Club in Mandurah. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Violet
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Violet: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
