Vindya Dinusha Perera
Home economics and statistics teacher, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Grammar School
- Since 1996
- English, Sinhala
For 30 years I have been the home economics teacher at Colombo Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Vindya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Vindya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
