I've coached cricket at Bengaluru Kingsway Football Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
What gifts mean to Varun: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
