I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2015 at Little Zaria Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Zaria Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Usman
I've had 13 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Usman: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
