Upendo Ruth Mutebi
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- The Liberty Trades Guild
- Since 1983
- English
I've worked in auto repair since 1983. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,030 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Upendo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
