Kamau Barasa Juma
Tailoring for 17 years in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2006 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I've worked in tailoring from 2006 to 2023. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 750 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Kamau: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
