Upendo Beatrice Mbwambo
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda
- The Mbale Art Collective
- Since 2001
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 2001 at The Mbale Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Mbale Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
