I'm a swimming coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,150 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Umesh
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Umesh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
