Umar Kusuma
Choir director and singer
- 🇮🇩 Malang, East Java, Indonesia
- Malang Maple Ridge Ensemble
- Since 1987
- English, Indonesian
I play folk music and songwriting. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Umar: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
