Dimas Firmansyah
Brass band player and teacher in Surakarta
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Surakarta Crescent Choir
- Since 1992
- English, Indonesian
I play brass band and gospel. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
More about Dimas
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Dimas: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
