Tumusiime Mukasa
Oil painting artist in Dodoma
- 🇹🇿 Dodoma, Dodoma, Tanzania
- Orchid Gallery
- 1978 to 2010
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes graphic design. My first show was in 1978 at Orchid Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I watch every football match going.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

I bought one of your pieces in 1979. It's still the first thing I see in the morning.
