Tsion Ruth Gebre
Woodcarving and embroidery artist
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- The Bamboo Gallery
- 2000 to 2008

I got into woodcarving as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at The Bamboo Gallery, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Tsion
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Tsion: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
