I've coached tennis at Fukuoka Brookfield Community Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Tomoko
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Tomoko: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
