Tomoko Naoko Sakamoto

Coached gymnastics for 24 years in Yokohama

  • 🇯🇵 Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan
  • Yokohama Football Club
  • Since 2002
  • English
I've coached gymnastics at Yokohama Football Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

More about Tomoko

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Tomoko: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
