Tika Ratna Hutapea

Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Old Jakarta Selatan Trades Guild
  • Since 1988
  • English, Indonesian
My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1988 in Jakarta Selatan and I'm still there most mornings. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Tika

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Tika: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
