Thilina Liyanage
Volunteer mentor with Kandy Foundation
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Foundation
- Since 1994
- English, Sinhala
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 640 people through Kandy Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Thilina
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Thilina: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
