Thandi B. Du Plessis
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Redwood Repairs
- Since 1994
- English, Afrikaans
I've worked in pottery since 1994. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,060 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Thandi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
