Thabisa J. Mokoena
Local thatching and masonry
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- The Greenfield Trades Guild
- Since 1984
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1984. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,510 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Thabisa
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Thabisa: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
