I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Teresita
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Teresita: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
