Taylor A. Merritt
Blacksmithing for 15 years in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Little Westbrook Works
- 2002 to 2017
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 2002 to 2017. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 590 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Taylor: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
