I'm a mentor in teaching. I've spent my career as a bus driver and now give some of that back.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Tatsuya: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first teaching job in 1994. I still have your notes.
