Taner Emre Karaca
38 years teaching physics in Bornova
- 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
- Hillcrest Academy
- Since 1999
- English, Turkish
For 27 years I have been the physics teacher at Hillcrest Academy. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Taner
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me physics in 2013 at Hillcrest Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Greetings from Bhaktapur.
