I taught accounting and mathematics at Ashford Public School, İzmir. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 910 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Burcu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Burcu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
