Tammy S. Whitaker
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Tallahassee, Florida, United States
- Tallahassee Repairs
- 1996 to 2023
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 1996 to 2023. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,590 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Tammy
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Tammy: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
