Hua Xia Gao
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- Fresno Repairs
- 2005 to 2018
- English, Mandarin, Spanish
I've worked in carpentry from 2005 to 2018. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 720 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 15 years later for another job.
More about Hua
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Hua: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
