Sven Robbert Schouten
Volunteer mentor with Bayview Learning Hub
- 🇳🇱 The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
- Bayview Learning Hub
- Since 2012
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 590 people through Bayview Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Sven
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Sven: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
