Susana T. Ramos
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Arlington, Texas, United States
- Starlight Workshop
- 2000 to 2024
- English, Spanish
I've worked in upholstery from 2000 to 2024. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,130 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Susana: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
