I coached swimming at Mumbai Athletic Club from 2007 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Suresh
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Suresh: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
