Sumaiya Popy Biswas
Oud and classical teacher
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Oakwood Orchestra
- 1998 to 2012
- English
I play oud and classical. I started in 1998 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Sumaiya
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Sumaiya: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
