Ssebuliba Maina Kyagulanyi
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Little Kasarani Art Collective
- Since 1987
- English
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1987 at Little Kasarani Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Ssebuliba
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Ssebuliba: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
