I coached rowing at Heritage Youth Club from 1989 to 2011. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Sowmya
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Sowmya: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 2014. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Gazipur.
