Songül Aylin Işık
Geography and social studies teacher, Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Technical College
- 2014 to 2024
- English
I taught geography at Üsküdar Technical College in Üsküdar from 2014 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Songül
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
