Sofía K. Ríos
Coached badminton for 19 years in Girona
- 🇪🇸 Girona, Catalonia, Spain
- Girona Cedar Grove Youth Club
- Since 2007
- English, Spanish
I've coached badminton at Girona Cedar Grove Youth Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Sofía
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
