I've coached tennis at Seville Frangipani Athletic Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Gonzalo
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Gonzalo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
