Sofía Gutiérrez
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇸 Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain
- Alicante Sunrise Community Club
- Since 1986
- Spanish, French
For 40 years I've run the rowing program at Alicante Sunrise Community Club in Alicante. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Sofía
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Sofía: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
