I coached swimming at Rosewood Youth Club from 1992 to 2007. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Shazia
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Shazia: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
