I'm a hockey coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 340 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Shankar
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Shankar: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
